One of the best China trade fairs is the China import and export fair. It is also called the Canton Fair, was first established in 1957. Due to the long history of evolution, it has become the largest comprehensive international trade show in China at present. The current exhibition cycle is two sessions a year, which hold in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. Each session of the Canton Fair is held in three phases, with different product categories participating in each phase.

According to official data, the total construction area of the Canton Fair exhibition hall is 1.1 million square meters, the indoor exhibition hall has a total area of 338,000 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition hall has an area of 43,600 square meters. As of the 123rd Canton Fair data, the cumulative export transaction of the Canton Fair is about US$1.3237 billion, and the total number of foreign buyers attending the fair is about 8.42 million. 2. China Trade Fair Guide:China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (Yiwu Fair)

Yiwu International Commodities Fair, the Yiwu Fair, was founded in 1995 and is an international exhibition of daily consumer goods. It holds from October 21st to 25th every year in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China.

Yiwu Fair insists on “facing the world and serving the whole country”. It focuses on merchants, highlights economic and trade functions, and pays attention to the effects of the exhibition. The Yiwu Fair relies on the large and small Asian commodity markets and has established a low-cost and high-efficiency procurement platform and created a channel for enterprises to open up trade.

According to data from the 25th Yiwu Fair, its exhibition area has reached 180,000 square meters with 6,500 booths. There were 110,195 buyers, including 17,050 overseas businessmen and 93,145 domestic business customers.

3. China Trade Fair Guide:The China Retail Trade Fair(CHINASHOP)

The China Retail Trade Fair is also known as CHINA SHOP. It was established in 1999, co-sponsored by China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) and Beijing Zhihe Lianchuang Exhibition Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Beijing Zhihe Lianchuang Exhibition Co., Ltd. As a Chinese exhibition, it has experienced 22 years of development and has now become an annual professional exhibition in the retail industry. As a well-known China fair, it will invite China’s top 100 retail chain companies, excellent facilities, leading IT technology companies, well-known domestic and foreign fast-moving consumer goods companies, private label production and processing companies, etc.

Since 2010, the fair area has grown at an average rate of 35%; the number of professional visitors has steadily increased for three consecutive years, the increase rate has remained above 12%. In 2014, the number of fair visitors increased by 23%.

The participation rate of enterprises in the facilities and equipment and IT technology industries reached 70%-80%. 59% of the fair visitors were professional retail buyers, who came from different retail formats such as shopping malls, hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores, catering, and specialty stores. 4. China Trade Fair Guide:East China Fair (ECF)

China East China Import and Export Commodities Fair, namely the China Fair. It is jointly sponsored by 9 provinces and cities in China and is held in Shanghai from March 1st to 5th every year. It is a regional international economic and trade event with the largest scale, the most merchants, the widest coverage, and the highest turnover in China.

Since 1991, the China Fair has been held for 30 sessions. At the 27th China Fair, more than 21,200 merchants and more than 13,000 domestic professional customers from 114 countries and regions all over the world attended the fair, and the total export turnover was nearly US$2.566 billion.

China East China Import and Export Commodities Fair, namely the China Fair. It is jointly sponsored by 9 provinces and cities in China and is held in Shanghai from March 1st to 5th every year. China Daily-use Articles Trade Fair is referred to as a department store fair.

The Department Store Fair is a brand exhibition supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. It originated from the first National Department Store Supply Fair held by the Ministry of Commerce in 1953. It has a history of more than 60 years and has been successful in 45 large and medium-sized cities across the country.
